California Takes Skill

California adds skilled labor to the project and usually requires an extra finisher. It is broomed as clean as possible and timed precisely to smoothen edges and grooves again.

  1. Flatten and lay concrete
  2. Smooth surface
  3. Cut Grooves
  4. Smoothen Edges
  5. Broom Concrete
  6. Smoothen Edges (again)
  7. Smoothen Grooves (again)

Not all driveways look the same. Thin Lines and Wet-look are signs of high-quality finish. Saw-cuts can also be done for a clean look.

Strong Mix

Concrete strength is measured in PSI and measures its compressive strength. 4000 PSI is the standard in our area as the minimum strength used.

Rebar are used along the foundation, and steel wire mesh and fibers are used to give the concrete tensile strength to resist cracking and breaking.

Optional OzFlat Mix Upgrade: 4500 PSI is the extra mile for flatwork (driveways & patios). Technology is used to add protective sealer in an upgraded mix. Upgrades include: fibers, 7 bag mix, water reducer, and Ozinga Shield additives to prevent further cracking.

OzFlat Mix can be used on Stamped Concrete too.

Reinforcing the slab of concrete through an added bag of cement, fibers, Ozinga Shield, Ozflat can also be used in Stamped Concrete as well. OzFlat is proven to protect the color all-through the slab. Acrylic Sealer is used once the slab cures or right after.
